Installation of the new water main on 16th St continues east, and is now crossing Emmertsen Rd. The contractor will be providing a 48-hour notice prior to any temporary driveway & road closures as the water main work progresses. Temporary closures should reopen at the end of the same day.
Most of the grading work on 16th St between Emmertsen Rd and Oakes Rd has been completed. Work on infiltration basins will continue as soon as utility relocates have been marked/flagged.
Rough grading on the south side of 16th St; between Emmertsen Rd and STH 31, has been done to allow additional room for traffic during the water main installation. The remainder of the storm sewer will be installed prior to the water main crossing STH 31.
A weekend closure of STH 31 will be in place when the water main is installation work is being done across STH 31.
