The Mount Pleasant compost site will close for the season on Wednesday, November 19. The Village does not collect leaves curbside. Under Village Ordinance 70-8, residents should not rake leaves into the street. The compost site's hours of operation are:
- Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., last vehicle admitted at 5:45 p.m.
- Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., last vehicle admitted at 3:45 p.m.
The site will reopen in April 2026, weather permitting. Questions regarding the Compost Site should be directed to the Public Works Department at (262) 664-7843.
