Antifreeze and Waste Oil Collection Site
The Department of Public Works offers an antifreeze and waste oil collection site for residents of Mount Pleasant. Reservoirs for dropoff are located at the Public Works Facility at 8700 Campus Drive; residents can access the reservoirs using the south driveway entrance. The collection site is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is no charge to use the collection site.
The drop-off site is for residential use only; disposal from commercial entities is prohibited. The collection site only accepts antifreeze and waste oil. Old gas and other hazardous chemicals are not accepted.
